"What's In My Bag?" Video! :)

I've had a pretty stable 'bag routine' (if there is such a thing) recently so I recorded a "What's In My Bag" video :) If you remember, I got this bag back in February..

..and have absolutely wrecked it with use! :) Here's what's inside..

Hope you guys like it, I haven't done a TAG in a while! :)

As you may know, I'm away from my vanity and only have a select few things with me so if you have any video/blog post ideas, please let me know! :)

Hope you guys are having a good day, and stay safe for those who are near the horrible violence that has been going on in the UK! :(

TAG: 11 Most Reached For Products

For those of you who haven't been on YouTube lately, there is a tag going on for the 11 Most Reached For Products. I usually don't do tags, but I thought this one would actually benefit my viewers/readers in the sense that these 11 products are almost synonymous with products that you use when you don't know what to wear, or products that you know always looks good on you.

I left out concealers, foundation, powder etc., just because I usually only use one at a time anyway so it would kinda be pointless.. and also I feel like it's not the point of this tag! :)

So I jumped on the bandwagon and created a video that I'll attach below. But for those of you who don't take a fancy to videos, here is the condensed blog version :)

LIPS:

- Burt's Bees Beeswax Lipbalm
I included this because despite my OCD on lipbalms that you can read about here, I can always turn to this and it wont let me down :)

- Rimmel London Moisture Renew Lipstick in Nude Delight
This is my perfect spring/summer nude, with its warm peachy undertones and it goes with absolutely everything. Again, you can read about them here :)

- CANMAKE Nudy Glow Lipgloss in 06
This is a great alternative to lipsticks for those days I don't want to look like I've put too much effort in. It's pigmented and creamy, and is a perfect winter nude that goes with any look.

- MAC Creme Cup Lipstick
This is a pink alternative to my perfect nude, for those days where I want a bit more colour than a true nude, but nothing too overpowering. Again, goes with pretty much anything! :)

EYES:

- MAC Paint Pot in Vintage Selection
A gorgeous peachy taupe that I love as an all over lid colour. It's easy to use, just with a finger and I know it will always look good on me, with Satin Taupe in the crease.

- 28 Neutral Palette
You can read a review on this here, but I love this because you can be creative within the boundaries of wearable because of all the different colour and finish choices. I also have several 'standard' looks with this that I can always turn to as well.

- MAC Palette
This is kind of a given because you only put in shadows you like and know you look good in right? :) So far I have, Naked Lunch, Honesty, Patina, Woodwinked, Tempting, Mulch, Satin Taupe and Beauty Marked.

FACE:

- ELF Studio Blush in Tickled Pink
I love this because it's a really natural colour on me being a warmer pink, and a satin finish. It goes with anything! :)

- MAC Style Blush
This is my go-to blush in the summer when I want warmth on my face - always gives a sunkissed look a bit more colour than just bronzer. Also, it's handy to have when you have a really cool blush on and wish it was a tad bit warmer, I just dab a bit of this on top and voila! :)

- MAC MSF in Light Flush
Again, very subtle and natural pinky peach colour that goes with anything, except this one has a sheen and it doubles as a highlight/blush. Lovely paired with ELF Tickled Pink too :)

- NARS Blush in Sin
My go-to blush in colder weather, a natural cool-toned blush. It also doubles as a contour, which is good in the winter cuz I don't have that bronzey tone naturally in the winter! Doesn't go with absolutely everything, but it goes with a lot of colours that I wear in the winter, like taupes and bronzes :)

I hope you guys enjoyed that, and if you want to learn a bit more, then I babble on for a bit longer in the video so feel free to take a look :)

On blogside I taggggg:

and everyone else that wants to do it :)

What's In My Make Up Bag?

As a student who lives on campus, I'm not often properly out of the house for that long, but I still keep my make-up bag ready to go by my make-shift vanity.

This is my make-up bag from Laura Ashely and I fell in LOVE with it when I saw it. It's the perfect size, pretty pattern, the zipper charms are flowers, and the bottom 2 zippers actually open a place for brushes, including a plastic flap that protects the bristles (to a certain extent). It came with a small round mirror trimmed with the same fabric.

I like to keep products in there that I can use no matter what I'm wearing that day. So here are the contents:

- ELF Complexion Perfection Powder
- CANMAKE Eyebrow Kit
- Eyeko Magic Bronzer in Miami (I think)
- Eyeko Cheeky Colour in Glow Getter
- Eyeko London Lips in Knightsbridge
- Hard Candy Baked Eyeshadow Duo in Peace
- Rimmel Kohl Eyeliner in Black
- Bodyshop Hemp Hand Cream sample
- MUJI Toner in an atomizer
- Versace perfume
- Eyelash curlers
- Some blotting sheets

And I usually stuff in a Denman's portable brush - the ones that are round, and you kinda squeeze the brush out :P Love them. I think out of the list I usually only use the eyeliner, blotting sheets and lip product. And usually I stuff my lip product that I used that day in my pocket so not really out of this make-up bag! :P I enjoy filling my make-up bag though lol..

What do you think is your make-up bag essentials? :)

TAG: Interview!

I've been sat in the student workroom for the past 2 hours and I've pretty much done nothing, so I thought.. I'll update my blog (typical).

So considering I can't do pictures or anything like that, I decided to do the tag that Brittany tagged me in the other day, so here goes :)

1.Why did you create this blog?
Mainly because as a final-year student, I'm busy with work (ironic..) so I had less time and patience to update my YouTube as often as I used to. Also, I don't do massive hauls so it was really awkward to do videos on small ones, and thought blogging's a better outlet on.. pretty much every situation except tutorials :)

2. What kind of blogs do you follow?
Mostly beauty blogs, but I tend to look for people from the UK, just because it becomes more relevant on different levels (sharing discount codes/sales, same grief about not having a Sephora, and very popular atm - the darn weather!).

3. Favorite make-up brand?
Atm I'm going through a massive MAC hype, and trying to build my collection slowly. But when I look at my collection, I see loads of MAC and CANMAKE (a Japanese brand), followed by the likes of Rimmel.. but other than that I just get what's good!

4. Favourite clothing brand?
Usually shop in H&M, Primark and Jane Norman, but not a massive fashion buff!

5. Your indispensable make-up product?
Foundation. I think foundation accounts for about 50% of how good I feel that day.
6. Your favourite colour?
Pink, purple and grey. (Generally, pink stuff, purple as a colour, and grey clothing/bags.)

7. Your perfume?
Atm, Gucci's Envy Me, but I love Christina Aguilera's Inspire, Ralph Lauren Romance, Cacharel's Amor Amor and Burberry's Summer :)

8. Your favourite film?
Sooo difficult.. Snatch? Lock, Stock & Two Smoking Barrels? Red? Lucky Number Slevin? You get the drift :) Bad-ass funny films, basically.

9. What country would you like to visit and why?
So so many.. but I think atm is Australia, because.. one word (ok 2): cool animals.

10. Write the last question and answer it yourself:
So, now that you've written an entry, are you going to go back to your work? No.

P.S. Look out for a Sigma haul next :) My Black Friday order has come in - YAY!
P.S.S. I tag.. everyone :)
